Families  >:(  What is wrong with all these people, not just your family Hally - you hear this sort of thing all the time.  Stressful for you and very hard to do anything about it when you are on the other side of the country or world as in your own case.  Nanna's circumstances seem to be changing by the minute, hopefully the doctors can organise that hook up with family members very quickly.   :-* :-*

Hugs Hally, it is sad what families can turn into when money comes into an equation.
My dad said he's spending the lot before he and mum goes no chance of you lot (there are 6 of us kids) fighting over it he says and I couldn't agree more

How awful Hally.  Everyone has enough stress dealing with your MIL's illness and her treatment without having this to deal with as well.

I work in a Solicitor's office and we deal with Wills & Estates - some of the stories you hear and what some people will do is shocking.  It is really sad what people will do for money and how fast they want to get their hands on it.

Take care Hally and fingers crossed for some good news soon.

Yes JD, dh keeps emailing & asking when is the meeting but no replies atm.

The beauty of having  1 child, he gets the lot of lots or nothing, lol ;D

People are awful, i mean these are my mils blood daughters, my brother was adopted so its different in the fact you had no idea of his parents principals & family history, in saying that I was adopted too, we were raised the same way & we turned out so different.

Katis, i believe you, its incredible. Also i dont think people realise estates take time, you dont get the money the next day.

My auntie passed away in July 2011, because if tax ussues its still not finalised.

Well I am having my cuppa, have a terrible headache.

Havent heard back from he fster agncy yet with an answer to all my questions. We will probaby take him fr the holidays, keep cp happy & takes our minds off things.

Enjoy your cuppa Hally, you certainly do not need the added stress of it all. All the best.

Hally, I hope you are enjoying a cup of your very expensive, but very good tea. You deserve it.
Reminds me of the saying that you can choose your friends, but you can't choose your family!

Kimmy, your gifts have reminded me of a book my MIL gave me which is full of biscuit recipes for ingredients in a jar and the gift tags to go with them. I'm going to look at it now!
