Cleaned fridge out, omg that was a task. Cleaned DS room and cupboards (he is still going). Washed sheets, towels and clothes. About to make a cake and start on dinner.

Washing, vacuuming, dishes, cleaned up the benches in the kitchen to make more mess tonight.  Never ending job keeping the kitchen clean.

Will be pasting with my DD when she wakes up.  Have to make a birthday card for her little friend who will turn 2 tomorrow.  My DD who will be 2 in 2 weeks, loves anything crafty, drawing, painting, playdoh etc.  So rather than buy birthday cards we make them. I'm very keen to encourage her creative side as all of my DH's family are very talented with painting/drawing etc

I admired my almost empty freezer . Cleans out my wardrobe. Washed all the racks, reorganised my clothes on new hangers and folded up a stack  of stuff to,take to the Sallies.

I am proud of finally doing it and was  embarrassed how dirty the wire racks were.

I'm green with envy Gert. Would love to have an almost empty freezer but would settle for a pared down pantry.
Your wardrobe must be looking sparce too, didn't you clean it out a couple of weeks ago?

I did reorganise  it but did not actually  clean it . The guilt set in so I had to redo it and just as well as it is now actually really really clean. I have  all those plastic coated wires stuff and you have  to clean each wire individually. Of course I discovered even more stuff to get rid of when  I changed all the hangers. Good for. A Year I figure

Went to the post office after work to send a package and there were cookbooks on special.... :-))

I only got five. I'm very proud of myself. There were lots more that I wanted to get ;D

Does anyone else have this obsession with cookbooks or is it just me? ???

Me too. I keep saying NO MORE. I'm now having to put them 2 deep in the bookcase. I've got better, but I'm eyeing off a couple of cake decorating/baking books."..problem is I've been reading Maddy's posts in the shopping thread. I'm really tempted by a couple of books at the moment

Thanks girls, I feel better now :D
And I don't know why I felt so bad, I certainly don't have as many as you ES ;D

I think I need to start borrowing them from the library, photocopying recipes I want, and then returning them. That might be a more economical way to get some good recipes.... Its not as fun though! :-))

I'm just going to go to bed and read my new recipe books. I have a new doona and a warm heatpack. What else could a girl want? :D

I'm not going to think about bubble baths... :-))

I haven't bought it yet DG, but I know which one I want ;)
It's $99.95 at Harvey Norman. Does that sound like a good price?
