Going grocery shopping. Need to get DS some new school shoes.
Exercise is a dirty word... Every time I hear it, I wash my mouth out with chocolate

DH working today and the kids being diabolical (more than usual)!
Want to go out to spotlight, but hate the crowds and queues in the weekend, so think I will wait till monday (or maybe tues so I can take just one kid)

Been doing loads of washing and about to clean the bathroom. Fun times here!

......mob and internet service only just reconnected - 470mm rain in the past 36hrs took out some of telstra's fibre optic cables. Interesting experience in the shops today with majority of stores needing customers to have that dirty word -CASH .
My sister and DD still have no power after losing it at 10am yesterday - again all roads in and out of Rockhampton are cut. I have never seen so much rain in such a short period of time.

This street is not in a flood prone zone actually one of the suburbs in the foot hills of the ranges.

DD just phoned from pharmacy, to say that a bridal party in with most in tears as the road is cut and the wedding is at the Caves on the northern side of the cit (Gracemere is to the west) - SES to the rescue, DD had been in constant contact with them as medication was needed by people on the other side of this washed out bridge.

SES are going to transport the wedding party and the majority of bride's family across the food plains into Rocky

Picked up the dog from the kennels at Murray Bridge, done some washing, I've wrestled the last of the plums away from the birds (they ripened while we were away, as I knew they would) and have made plum jam & a plum cake.
Going down to town in an hour or so to visit my mum, then pick up daughter and bring her home.
No idea what we are having for dinner tonight, though!

It would definately be a wedding to remember..

Just hope everyone says safe for whatever reason... Horrible news about that poor pregnant mother who told her kids to get out of the car after getting hit by a car going the wrong way up the local hwy then her and her hubby getting hit a second time by a truck.. Horrible accident and she lost her battle for life today.. Their father is still in critical condition in bne :(( so sad.. The kids are fine.. Physically anyway :(

That's awful Frozzie.

I went for a long bike ride this morning then went to the Australia Day breakfast put on by the local council. This afternoon I went to the pool and swam 4 x 1km. Tonight I am not doing anything.

It is devastating.... Makes you cherish your family even more if thats possible.. Everyone is praying the dad survives.doesnt look good though.. Mum said they only said head injuries to bne:((. One of the worst accidents in a while ... And all because of idiots going the wrong way up the highway.. They are known to police apparently.. Makes you so angry and sad..

My heart breaks for those poor kids.. :(
