Gosh Amy I thought you would be rushing to vote. Not to worry. I do hope you don't get fined, money has better places to be spent eg food gadgets.
Get your name on the roll before the federal election in Spetember. I'm pretty sure it can be done on line or even give one of the politicians down your way a call and they will help you. It is very easy to do it early. DD always does a postal vote in case she is on call. DH and I often just go and vote early to avoid the crowds. Now that we are retired and can do so.
It's sort of part of becoming an adult.

It is hot here so got up early to water the garden and check out the chooks.  So now I can play on the computer and not feel guilty.
Amy ,  glad to hear job went well.  It is important to vote, part of being an adult.  You can make a difference. ;D
Judy you are so well organized I am sure it all went well.
No fire near us,  good.

You poor people with the heat. It is warm here but cloudy and by humid. It is only going to be 30 here   In fact later in the week we have a predicted maximum of 22. Unbelievable, our minimums have been higher than that.

I am glad there are no fires too close Chookie. You and DH take care.

If they do fine me Cookie, they'll be waiting a while for the money... I have none until I get paid!
I have never been interested in politics or the petty stuff that goes on in parliament. I find it all really ridiculous, they just seem to shout at each other and argue like children. There's less drama on Home and Away ;D

Too true Amy but you can do your 'thing'.  Sometimes I protest by voting for all the women on the ticket.  I put them in order of what they are trying to achieve.

Haven't been on here properly for a while and I've clearly missed a few things. What's your new job Amy? And where are you moving to Frozzie?
Had a day at the beach planned for today but DD9 said she wasn't feeling well this morning & I didn't want to risk a 1.5 hour drive with a kid with a dodgy tummy! Wanted to go to Anglesea, could have gone somewhere closer but Melbourne beaches are not good IMO. Anyway took the girls shopping instead for clothes, both very excited and put on a fashion show when we got home! Nice to get out of the heat for a few hours - might try the beach tomorrow since DD has made a miraculous recovery.

Fair enough Amy. I don't watch Home and Away so I'm not too sure of the dramas on there.
