me too!
There was a fire again yesterday, down the South end of our road....falling gums on power lines the culprit after high winds....they got it under control quickly though.

Boys are off to Camperdown with football all day, and taking my car, so stuck at home for the day/night.  I will be either doing all the paperwork that I've put off  for weeks....or cooking....we'll see how disciplined I'm not  :P

.........EAT CAKE!

Im going off this morning for a Thai Yoga massage - looking forward to it.  Then have a whole weekend of being taxi driver to the kids. My youngest DD Miss 15 is volunteering at three events over the weekend!

Maddy I hope you accomplish a bit of both, the winds were furious , I have been picking up branches mostly small thank goodness,  I have been watering and planting cuttings given to me about three weeks ago.  Not much cooking going on today, have a few left overs to get rid off

I was lucky enough to get 7 hours sleep last night and as it's a much cooler day today this morning I finally had a burst of energy and cleaned up DH's garage and swept and washed down the pergola area.  Very happy with what I achieved today.

We are in Perth for the weekend for a friends engagement party. This morning I went into the city and participated in Park Run. It is a free timed 5k run. It was good fun and i smashed my anticipated time by 30 seconds.

Well done DD. Apparently folk that run are less likely to succumb to Alzheimer's. It slows down the release of some thing or rather in the brain and slows down cognitive decline.  :)
