Lovely photo rainbow - makes me want to go to Australia even more. Roll on OH's retirement

Well my friend never made it to lunch as it's really icy out there. I'm getting a bit stir-crazy but hope the snow will get a lot clearer over the next few days. I've seen some photos from the party I missed on Saturday and it looked amazing. I HATE SNOW

Hally, your visitors should be spoiling you and your family and enjoying your company. It's sad they have missed a big opportunity to really be a part of your family and to have you guys all enjoy their visit too, just through selfishness. Life is so much more enriching when you can give and not just receive. I would be going out with my family for dinner and letting them cope especially over the holiday period you are looking forward to.

Finished joining the squares of my blanket tonight.

Ends to run in still and an edge to put on when I work out how best to do it.

Well done DJ if it is for a female you could crotchet a lacey edge around it, if for a male crotchet maybe two rows of double crotchet just to finish it off.

went into the office this morning all jobs done, attempted to make sushi at ds7's request so much easier to buy it

made a banana cake and changed all the beds I actually put my flanelett sheets on it was so cold last night
