Your weather sounds terrible Jo, ours not good either. It got to 13  today, which is very low for our winter. Thankfully I worked so was indoors all day.
JudyDawn, do you live on the Gold Coast? You mentioned Harbour Town so thought you must be close by.

I'm in Adelaide keeki.  I think there are Harbour Towns in other capital cities too.

There's one here in Perth.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Judy, I was at Harbour Town for about an hour today too - that's where I bought my boots. I left my friend there and she bought a couple of boots after I left at another store as well as a pair at the same shop as me. Just as well I had to leave to pickup DS or I might have bought more boots too! It's a dangerous place to visit.

I can drive anywhere pretty much.. The only place that freaked me out a little is the rond pont des etoiles in paris or the round about around the arc de triumph.. Crazy... Game of chicken every second... I got across but my heart was beating out of my chest.. Anywhere in oz is peanuts in comparison lol

Omg Frozzie, we couldn't believe the traffic there. The road rules seemed different to ours also. Do people on the round about give way to people coming on.
Aways thought  good things of you but now new found respect. Always leave the driving to my wonderful DH.

I guess we aren't the only ones with a Harbour Town. Is anyone from the Gold COsat, Brisbane area?

Chookie, I woud have loved to see you, just no time this trip. >:(. I will get to Roys its just down the road :)

Yes things have settled down but we can see it is all going to flair up again. Lucky we live interstate & nothing major can be done without dhs authorisation.

I can see we are going to be bombarded with emails & phone calls, lucky we are going overseas for 8 weeks ;D

GS has gone to his father for the weekend so I took the opportunity to go out for lunch with a girlfriend and then a bit of shopping.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

There is nothing like coffee with a friend and a bit of retail therapy to improve things for you. Good on you Mab.
