That's terrible news Snappy, I saw that happen to a school friend when I was 13 and I can still see the picture in my mind vividly.
Good luck to DS in that everything works out OK for him, the worst is over and now it's just healing time.  It must be so hard on you though, Mum's hate to see anything happen to their kids.

Sorry to hear about your ds Snappy.  Hope he recovers quickly.

Had to see GS teacher today.  He is not behaving very well and is quite disruptive in class as well as telling lies and taking things that don't belong to him.  It's a worry and we still don't know what is going to happen with him yet.  We have court next Tuesday.

Mab your poor GS has been through so much, I'm not surprised he is having a few behavioral issues.  Hopefully you will get some certainty on Tues and it might help him to settle.

Oh Snappy what a horrible accident. I hope DS recovers quickly and that there will be no lasting damage.
