I'm not so hot with Siri but when you can touch the microphone and speak I am fairly ok.

Continuing my cleanout of the attic storage today  :)
Starting to look a little better now...was looking a lot worse for a while there.

When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.

Well, it's just roof space with some particle board for floor. But it's a great place to stash stuff!
And now that it's winter, I can actually get up there to sort it out - gets pretty hot up there in summer, even here in NZ. ;)

Working from home today - enjoying the peace & quiet as I have visitors from interstate staying with me at the moment and it was bedlam this morning with all of us trying to get breakfasted and dressed etc. They've taken my youngest DD with them on an outing and my oldest DD is spending the day with a friend, so I've got the house to myself right now. My friend is such a good cook that I feel a bit intimidated about feeding her & her 2 teenagers, but she made us all a lovely dinner last night which made me feel guilty so I whipped up a dessert - chookie's belgium lemon teacake which was a huge hit. Think we might make pizzas tonight, although she might have other ideas which is fine by me as I know she's more than happy to take over my kitchen!

On the job front - had my 2nd interview a couple of days ago which seemed to go well. At the end the interviewer said he'd be recommending that we proceed to the next stage so hopefully I'll hear from the recruiter soon about the 3rd and final interview. Trying not to get too excited as I'm sure there are other candidates, but I really, really want this job!
Still a bit too hectic to be on the forum much but I've got a few days off next week so might get a chance to catch up then.

Fingers crossed here too deedub.

I have just spent a very pleasant morning planning food etc for our Birdsville trip. We did more have more time chatting and carrying on but we did decide that we would eat. We've also decided to go to Mildura and along the river to Morgan and then Burra after Broken Hill. I love Morgan and Burra in SA. that will probably be early September.

Good luck Deedub!
Today I had x rays and an ultra sound on my right shoulder, I hurt it awhile ago and since I started swimming  its flared up again. Dr doesn't seem to think that's the reason. I'm missing my swimming haven't  been for nearly 2 weeks.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!
