Maddy, I'm so glad the armoire is finally being delivered.

It has to fit in the room - You could always take the window out. We had to do that with custom made corner lounge we ordered for the family room. It wouldn't go up the stairs and wouldn't turn the corner. It was only $35 for the glazier to take it out and replace it.  :D

Lovely to catch up with forum friends Frozzie and glad you had a good time.

We had a lovely afternoon with Gert and her DH. It's been a pleasure getting to know them. Such an interesting, warm and friendly couple. :)

It will fit Maddy. I am sure is is not as wide as it is tall so turn it on it's side. I can't  Wait to see it in the room. Much excitement and hopefully DD has not changed her tastes or theme.

It is lovely that the Forum is a wonderful online place to meet and get to know someone. I met the gorgeous Frozzie today and felt I knew her from the moment we met. In fact, she felt like an old friend.  She is a warm and lovely person and an absolute delight. It was a pity that the coffee shop started to put the chairs up hinting heavily they would like to close the cafe for the day. Look forward to getting to many many more catch ups.

Rainbow we plan to leave early August. We love Burra too. Have you done the tour of all the old copper mining buildings? You pay about $10 and get the key from the shire. ( I think). Then you can drive round and view everything. It took us several hours. Seeing where some of the Cornish miners had made their homes in the walls of the creek and then been drowned when it flooded was really sad.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Never did the tour but went to mines, really need to take time next trip to stay around areas and do tours etc, being a pom I found it interesting about the Cornish miners and history of SA mining

How lovely Frozzie and Courton.
Exciting Maddy waiting for delivery.

Lovely summer's day today been washing blankets, and bedding before packing in boxes. Washing curtains too. Hopefully the weather will last and I'll get it all done. Great to wash wool blankets and dry in the sun.

Well JD I have finally started packing and we've signed... And posted it back.
Still no exact date but hoping for keys soon and move a week later.
I shall have to go like mad now to get it all done and if stuck will get them to pack the kitchen the Monday before. But should be ok I think. Except the office....  Ah well it's only to do once.

Been sorting insurance too today.
