All the best Jo. Stay safe, it's always better to be over than under prepared.

Just left a note on the thread in relation to the Wellington earthquake ... silly me, didn't think to read this thread first!

The Hutt river is at the end of the road we used to live on but even with the occasional floods, the river bank held where we were so never suffered any damage - however I used to work in an office right on the river and they got flooded regularly.

Hope you get no more bad shakes, it's a very unsettling feeling, not knowing how long it will last / how bad it will get / when or if there will be another one.  Hope it is all over for you and you remain safe.

Jo how unsettling for you all. At least you can have the children under your wings and know they are safe. My thoughts are with you.

Had a girls' day with GD 9 years old today, took her to Port Power HQ to buy her a Power T-shirt, had a coffee/cake, onto see Grandpa, then the pet shop where I took photos of her with different animals on her iPad as I left my camera home, Café Primo for lunch, browsed some shops and had my arm twisted a few times then onto the movies to see Monsters University.  Full day but we had a great time.

What a great day Judy. Waiting - sort of patiently until I am able to have days with the grandchildren.  :)

That's so wonderful, Judy. The two of you must share a very special bond. So blessed :)
