Where are you off to astarra with needing the passports?  It's amazing how much can be achieved when you get stuck into things, other days go by and hardly anything gets done at all  :P

Well took cp to school. Went to the gym climbed hills for an hour on the bike.

Came home, been cooking & sorting out my freezer. Amazing what you find.

Have made a lemon tart, 3/4 way through a caramel slice. Filling for 4 chicken & veg pies & 2 or 3 roast beef pies. Now tonights dinner. Think menu plan will be all over the place this week. Pleased as I emptied 3 containers, lemon curd, cooked chicken breast & 1/2 portion of white sauce which is now in the chicken pie filling. So tonights meal made from freezer bits.

Have to get chest freezer empty by next thursday as that is my meat order day.

I'm not going anywhere at this stage but miss 3 is off to my parents in NZ for a week next month ( :'( me) with SIL - also from NZ, actually my first cousin!! So as I was needing to do hers the others just sort of followed on... yes it is amazing what gets done sometimes!! Not bad at all considering my alarm didn't go off this morning so i didn't wake til I heard miss 5's alarm going off at 8am - we leave home at 8:30 to get to school on time...

I have actually caught up on all the washing and ironing. Got the housework up to date as well. Then I took a heap of stuff to Anglicare that DD had piled up, then followed that with a pile of books we were donating to the library. While I was there I picked up my book club book.
I am thrilled to be all caught up at last.

What was book club book? Have just finishes reading Hilary mantel's book bring up the bodies. Enjoyed it.

I just finished my book club book on Saturday night- The Time Travellers Wife. I really enjoyed it, but we watched the movie last night and i found it really disappointing.

My DS is an avid reader and never watches a film if she has read the book.She says she finds it disappointing like you ES.

My BF came up yesterday to visit me for the day.


She also has a thermomix, so we printed recipes, and told her about other blogs I love.
Back to normal today for me.... :D
