I just decided, on the spur of the moment, to take my Dyson around to Mum's to give it a good clean through - she only uses a little rechargeable upright.  She is always surprised by the amount of dust in the Dyson ;D  Have bought home her net curtains to wash as well as her washing machine is too small to take them. One happy little mummy, she loves to see me turn up with the vacuum cleaner in my arms.

Sound like a great day Katiej.

JD you are a wonderful daughter.

I am stuck at my desk catching up on all the work I didn't get to do yesterday because I was out at schools.

I had a good swim this morning. I swam a 400m and 200m time trial. My times have improved from that last time I did a time trial. I might try and go the the gym tonight.  DD is still home and is cooking again.

What a lovely daughter you are JD. A good vacuuming and freshly washed curtains. The place will smell wonderful.

Thanks girls but this is what daughters do for their Mums. Yes, it's always appreciated and I'm lucky it's just a small 1 bedroom independent living unit in a retirement village 2 minutes away.  I've been back with a roast meal for her and I lost count of the number of times she thanked me for the cleaning.

Does your mum live nearby JD?
She is very lucky to have you doing all those things for her?
You are a very caring daughter   :)
