Took DH Christmas shopping today.  Big mistake.  As soon as I had purchased everything on my list he was ready to come home.  No chance of looking about or a bite of lunch.  Next time I will take a girlfriend with me, much more fun.

I've cleaned the house, with Miss 16 helping seeing as she has finished school for the year.
And I've cleaned out a freezer, oh boy - there were some mystery containers in there! You know the ones where you chuck some leftovers into a container and into the freezer thinking "I'll remember what's in that". Buzz wrong! Not identifiable, and not game to do the taste test, and have no idea how long they've been in there. Chooks and dogs eating well () tonight!
Have to admit I did find some "semi-dried capsicum" from July 2007.  
It has been chucked to the chooks!

And my Miss 16 is almost as tall as me, I'm 6'1". Kinda hope she stops growing now as jeans are a pain in the backside to get for me. (thank goodness for online shopping as I get mine from the US!)

Finally the delivery man came, nothing exciting just my catch of the day and the boys books from the book depository, still no SS, astarra so nice to'meet'someone else on the shorter side, I'm 5 ft and my eldest DD is shorter than me was hoping she would grow a little more but wasn't to be:

I am same as you Suzanne and my eldest DD is 5 ft 4 and youngest DD 5ft 2
I love my heels and only wear flats when walking the dogs.

I learnt a loooong time ago never take your DH shopping I got fed up with " what else do you want" I agree take a girlfriend so much more fun
