Its good that you will get to speak to someone Hally. What they have to say could be good or bad or a bit of both :-\

Great little packages Jen ;)

jen, the puddings and cake look great.

Hally it will be positive from the point of view that you all hear what is going on at the same time which takes away the chinese wispers affect of people passing on the message. It's also a very difficult time so good that there is more than one set of ears listening, we always found everyone misses a little bit becuase it's so emotional so once you debrief after the call you can be assured everyone has the same information. It's great that the doctors have asked for the meeting, with my mother, FIL and brother we struggled to get them to tell even one person what was going on. All the best, sending lots of hugs.

Jen if you are travelling with nuts you can't very well put them in glass containers as they will be too heavy.  I often buy various sizes of plastic containers (Decor from Foodland usually) for my biscuits or nuts to ensure they stay fresh if I haven't got enough jars with lids.  That way they get 2 gifts - the contents and the storage container.

Hally I think it's great that the doctors are going to tell the family what is going on  - good news or bad news, you have to know and with everyone there in one form or another, all questions can be answered and everyone knows exactly what's going on.

Mcmich, I'm in the Wellington area, so south end of the North Island  :D
Better place to be than Auckland today...been a tornado. :'(

On a happier note, I found some fabric in the cupboard amd made three bags for my xmas "hampers" - very plain, in the style of plastic supermarket bags.  ;D Need to make three or four more...
Jo

When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.
