I was lucky Jamberie I got to leave a lot of mine up in the classroom over the big break. I would go in early and shift them round to look different when I arranged the desks etc. It is all very exciting, then after a couple of weeks you feel allo back to normal. What year level do you teach Jamberie?

I haven't had my own class for a few years as I work part time. I've been working with teachers, programming maths etc. I'm about to start working at the university this year so I'm working with really big kids! What level do you teach Cookie?

Ues quite a few chalkies on here. I have been retired for about 7 years (gosh I didn't think it was that long). I used to teach year 1 mainly, although have taught all levels. Finished up acting as deputy. I loved it.

Had a lovely day out at Serpentine falls, great swimming area, then dh thought we should drive to the damm as we were close by :)

The roads are fast & narrow, told him to slow down, he didnt listen, didnt enjoy the drive. When we got out the car I asked him "is there a shovel  in your  boot" :o :o. Thought he might be taking cp & me to the hills to bury, lol, lucklily he ddnt :)

Lovely ring neck parotts up at the damm, hand fed  them with bird food you can purchase at the cafe, cp loved it :)

Apart from the drive to the dam Hally,it sounds as if you had a good day. Maybe DH's mind was elsewhere today.

Bonus, no-one is hungry for dinner, so dont have to do a diner :) :)

DH and I went up into the hills to a lovely restaurant called Core cider house, wonderful food and cider, we are both to full to have dinner, we bought some fruit on the way home, to late for apricots:(

We had a lovely lunch at Mullaloo beach hotel with DS, DIL and baby Sophie. Arrived home and went onto balcony to find 3 police wagons and 2 ambulances parked opposite the house. One of the ambulances left with flashing lights and insaw a police officer bring a boogie board up from the rocks. Lots of people around watching and crying but no idea what happened. Wasnt a shark attack as still heaps of body boarders in the water .  ???
