I spent the morning chatting to Jeninwa, kt2 and her cute son and Mama Fergie. Thanks ladies.
This afternoon we had visitors so I spent time talking to them. A very talkative day.

It was a lovely catch up, really nice to finally put some faces to names ;D
Thank you Cookie, Jen and Mama Fergie!  ;D

We are lucky people. Owning a thermomix seems to make people become instant friends.

How lovely for you all to catch up!

Today I spent the day in the kitchen at our local club. We had a mens' bowling carnival and we catered for nearly 60 blokes. Morning tea, lunch, nibblies, then tea.  Went well, but I'm exhausted.

Tomorrow off to beautiful Albany. My DD's Hen's day is Saturday. We're off to Chimes for lunch! Then tea at our place - pizzas in the pizza machines.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

That is funny CP.

productive day for me yesterday, not really.

When i am at work all by myself, I find things on my computer.

Today, i plan on printing up more recipes to cook, and to add to my blog, and to be on here too.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

I'd be very surprised if they didn't have a ladies day and the men returned the favour of waiting on them.  Surely in this day and age no woman would be party to spoiling the men and not being spoilt themselves in return.  Perhaps the women have to bring a plate though and the men just serve it ;)

MJ did post this comment in another thread so it looks like the men do their bit on other occasions.

"Tonight the boys at the bowling club cooked steak and we had steak and salads."
