I went for a run this morning in the rain.  It is always great running in summer rain. I was soaked, my shoes weighed a ton by the time I finished and I couldn't see for most it because of the water on my glasses but I loved it.  ;D

However the humidity as it warms up this afternoon is not going to be pleasant :(.

Are they for your pink cake pops maddy?  Quinn - another word I have never heard of  ;D

Today I went to a High Tea at The Lady Daly Hotel with my carers' group - around 30 of us.  Had a great afternoon with plenty of laughs.  I took some photos but we were so hungry (having skipped lunch) that we started eating the sandwiches before I realised I wanted to take some photos to compare to the High Tea my DD put on for me last Mothers' Day.  Between you and me, DD's was better  ;)

The star of todays offerings were the sandwiches, the Portuguese custard tarts and the profiteroles. The bubbly was nice and the latte was great too.

It looks lovely Judy. It always tastes extra special when you don't cook it or have to do the dishes.

Yes it certainly was Michele, I was very proud of her. She also goes to a lot of trouble with her table setting but of course home situations are always different from hotels who cater for the masses.
