Lovely photos cookie, makes me want to visit WA again we loved it over there.

Wow johnro, can't wait to see the finished cake

Sorted out the linen press this morning and am now waiting for visitors for afternoon tea.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Thank you Marie, the tedious work - roof on the tower was done by DD, with the exception of the hair it really was quite simple despite being time consuming for DD over the past week

Robyn that cake is truly amazing. You should both be very proud of it. How is your foot?

Suzanne we are up here until June 5 th. it is cool today but has been beautiful for the last week or so. Shorts and t shirt weather.
This morning DH used the tmx and made a sultana cake and we cooked it in the Easi-Cook and then invited everyone for coffee and cake. It was all eaten.

This is the Easi-Cook he baked it in.

your dh's cake looks delicious too no wonder it was all eaten ;D

shopping this morning for soccer boots ds needs them for inter school sports a waste of money really when he only needs them for 6wks but what can you do
also bought some stuff for Lily's party I'm getting really nervous about it silly I know but our very first one with friends ::)

You have a very clever DH Cookie - very nice looking cake.

I'm sure the party will go off well Suzanne. At least the bathroom will be finished.  :D

Thanks Michele I guess my issue is it's not going to be one of those parties that has baby animals or magicians or a fairy to entertain the girls but an old fashioned pass the parcel,  pin the handle on the tea pot and make some fairy wings as well as having morning tea and yes the bathroom will be finished

That sounds like a fantastic party Suzanne. The kids will love it.  :D  They love party games.

You don't have to pull off a Donna Hay spread and re-mortgage the house to have a lovely party.

How many children do you have coming?
