We went for a drive in the country today. For the West Aussies we went to Northam, onto York, down to Pingelly, Brookton, Beverley and onto to Narrogin and then home. About 450km. We took lunch and bought some goodies at a popular pie shop not that far out of Perth.
DH used to live at a place out that way called Popanyinning and he wanted to drop an ancient old Chev motor to a man out that way.
We had a lovely day and got home about 6.

The house DH lived in during the 50's for a couple of years.
a beautiful 1929 Chev truck on the farm where we took the motor. The man had some beautiful treasures in between the junk.

Great photos cookie and a lovely day out. Lucky you didn't do it on Tuesday in that horrendous weather.

Cookie that is a two day trip in my opinion. DH loves to get on the road. Lovely trip though. Wish I was with ya.

I think we would have changed days if it had been planned  for Tuesday.

It was freezing when you were out of the car. Inside it was beautiful. It ran some Km's up on the Hilux too as we want to get it serviced before we go away. I would have loved to spend more time looking in the "treasure" but just couldn't   Perhaps next time.
