Have you ridden before Hally?

We went out for coffee again this morning. It was lovely. We went to Jandakot airport this time and watched the planes and helicopters. It is the main airport for light planes here.

Remembered I had bought some curtain fabric with me when we moved so made a couple of blinds/curtains today to put on the glass front door and laundry window in an effort to keep the heat out.  It worked a treat. :)

I had a lovely day with the GKs at their place, 2 long sessions in the pool and they were very good for me today, no fighting thank goodness.  I think they will sleep well for DD tonight and maybe want to go to bed a little earlier than usual too.

Usual stuff.... Ironing, cleaning, sanding for painting, and looking at the unceasing rain.
Hunting for tiles in the veg garden (crazy but true) to patch windows cills. Workmen fixing up where the new windows went in.
Plasterer back this afternoon and did a bit more. Hopefully final plastering on Saturday.
And very good news, we now have painters coming to help.
First to paint the office then we can move stuff out of house.
Electrician still needs to come back and finish. There is no electrics in the new office. Will have to dig trench to get services in.
DH will be working full time from Monday.
Getting quotes for drive and mini wall as garden now sliding away and eroding due to so much rain.
