Very cute looking dog.

I was up early and have been getting online quotes for Home & Contents Insurance. Ours has jumped considerably since the recent bush fires, although not right in our area they were in surrounding areas. Absolutely ridiculous the cost of premiums. I've done 6 online quotes. Very time consuming.

Was it Gert that was shopping around for home insurance a little while back? How did you get on?

Mich we saved hundreds on our home and contents insurance through our bank, might be worth checking with your bank to see if they offer insurance.
Our 3 cars and DH motor bike insurance are now due for renewal, DH had them all in a package, I was shocked at the increase I'm going to shop around to see if I can get a better deal.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Thanks Jen. Have now got 12 online quotes and it's a lot of work going through the fine print.
Think I've got it narrowed down  ???

Managed to get our down to just under $2000 by reducing the contents and upping the excess. Very few will insure in our postcode. suncorp and AAMI same same

Went with Woolworths and saved $600 - funnily enough they are under written by Hollards and that is the insurance firm we have been with for the past 4 years.  ???

Hally how do you manage to do that please? Ours goes up every year.  :'(. Our insurance company has just sold itself so we will shop around. We had everything with Westsure.

I've been out to lunch with 2 gf's, visited Geoff and soon will be going to Katies to be taken to a Nico Moretti TMX cooking class tonight.  A few of our regular forum members will be there so looking forward to seeing them all.
