Have a great time cookie you deserve it.  :D

GS 11 was hospitalised over the weekend with the worst asthma attack that he has experienced. Was in hospital on steroids, oxygen and nebuliser and had a 24 hour nurse. It was very scary as his heart rate was racing and his lips had turned blue and was severely struggling for breath. He is on the mend now and was discharged late yesterday. He is here with me today as my DD does payroll on a Wednesday and had to go to work. Lovely to have him and see him with colour in his face and appetite back. He had been sleeping over at a friends house on Friday and they had no experience with asthma and just thought he had a bad cough.

Poor kid. Glad he got to the hospital. That is very scary.  He is in good hands.

Gert

Was scary Gert and wouldn't have gotten that bad had he been home as his parents would have picked it up straight away. It was so bad that his ventolin puffer was doing nothing for his lungs but increasing his heart rate. All good now and the hospital gave him an asthma prevention plan. He is sitting out in the sunshine playing on his ipad.

How does it feel to be back in lovely warm Cairns? How did DH cope without you?

House was clean. Dog not so much. Only had to throw out some vegetables so all in all not bad.

An asthma plan is good for the 11 year old.

MF how terrifying for you.

We slept in this morning as we were still on WA time. Had breakfast at the hotel, caught a tram out to Zumbo's. had a coffee and zonut and another cake to share. Then walked a couple of kms to Lux Bite and had to have another coffee and cake. Such effort required. We then caught a tram to Swan St where we went to Diane Ferrari outlet and I bought 2 more pairs of shoes, DD bought 4 I think!  From there we walked to Bridge Road and the Bendon outlet. I bought a couple of bras and DD heaps of underclothes. Then to Stephanie Alexander's Richmond Cafe (?) and we shared a delicious freekah, pomegranate and whatever salad. Then back to the city.

A little rest and then walking to lots of book shops. My hip is holding up fairly well.

MF, so glad your GS is better. I would have freaked out 😱😱

Melbourne is so much fun, Cookie. Perth is not bad at the moment though. Feels like autumn or spring with the gorgeous sunshine the past few days 😄😃
