Love the new car Cookie.

Gert, enjoy your time with your friend.

I have spent the morning cutting out borders for a quilt that I am making.   I hope to get some cooking done later.

Absolutely love the new car Cookie, especially the colour.  ;D

Gert, enjoy your time with your friend.  :D

We are on the road to Adelaide at the moment.  Was going tomorrow for 2 nights, but we were just hanging around today all ready to go so we decided to finish packing and head off now.  Will be able to have a rare lie in in the morning instead of getting up at 5.30.  The weather is supposed to be turning to rain in the early hours so another good reason to get down there before it starts.  :)

Thanks Cornish and Judy.  Nicely settled into our Hotel, couldn't wait to have a shower.  We are both sitting on the bed with our laptops.  :-))   ;D

Sounds like us JulieO. We do the same, except we camp or are in the caravan.

We are heading off this morning for Narooma for a couple of weeks.  :D  The van has been packed for two days, just waiting for the weather to look reasonable.

Have a lovely time Mab. We head off to Monkey Mia in just over a week. I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully no one will get ill this year, but then that is life.

Whilst the days in Perth are still nice it is getting colder in the mornings and evenings.
Got the electric blanket out this morning, turned mattress, washed woollen underlay and tested electric blanket. I'm sure Annie our cat heard me flick the switch, she was curled up on the bed in no time at all.
Was nice to hop into a warm bed last night!
