Our kinder once did a visit to a nursing home, and I believe it was gratefully received. I've managed a lot more tonight, getting closer to having everything in the right rooms.

Beautiful photo, Judy.

Starting to get used to being on holiday and living a fairly normal life for once ... it's GREAT!!

Thanks girls.

Marina, some working people take a while to slip into a relaxed mode - the quicker you can achieve it the longer your break will seem. I'm glad you are well and truly there.  I never had a problem switching off once I left work.

Lovely photo JD. Enjoy your holidays Marina, I'm enjoying mine just wish I could sleep in, I'm awake most mornings by 5 am at least I'm getting some reading done.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

I'm the same, it's as well I loaded my kindle up to keep me company!

Sit back and enjoy every moment Marina and Jenny. You deserve it.

DH, Mum and I 'went to the movies' today to see Oddball. OK, it might have only been a DVD put on at the nursing home but that was good enough for me as I missed the movie when it was shown at the theatres.

It's good they put on things like that on for the residents and their families Judy.

DH and I have booked a week away at Easter. Off to Forster in the camper trailer.

Did you have popcorn Judy?

Staff came around with drinks cookie and for a laugh I asked if they had popcorn - great minds think alike!
