The Royal Mail Kitchen garden was amazing.  They use ducks and Chooks to control the snails and slugs. They host Chefs from all around the world, usually in 6 week blocks.  They teach them how things grow and the time it takes.  It is usually a 6 month planning process. The head gardener gave me a practical tip on growing seeds. What a wonderful experience.
I am envious, Chookie, that must have been a brilliant visit.

I am having trouble printing photos from Dunkeld.  Will do so when we return home.
Last night we were invited to visit the Royal Mail Hotel wine cellars.  They have 30 thousand bottles.  Largest Cellar in Southern Hemisphere.  We are feeling very spoilt.
Had another lovely evening  meal.  Ral Pork neck and I had duck.
We are heading home today.  Will take about 2 hours.

How exciting. That is certainly a lot of wine. I hope they know where to go when someone requests a particular bottle.

Gosh what an experience Chookie .
Made lots of Christmas cakes today at school , my job was to put the mixture and weigh in the tins . Annual event 500 cakes are made in a week ( lots of prep work done before ) . Team effort . Dropped DS at school before , he was pleased of the extra time in the morning .

What a lovely short break you had Chookie, you don’t have to go far to have a great time.
Katie home made Christmas cakes obviously sell well, they must have a big oven at the school to get that many cooked in a week.  Great effort by all involved.

Judy, no more OS travel for us.  We can have a good time anywhere.  We met some lovely interesting people on this trip.

My DH says he still hasn't seen Longreach and Winton so he wont even think of going OS. I don't blame you Chookie. Last time was a frightening event. We are amazed at how much interesting exciting stuff there is fairly close to home.

It is funny how we take our own "back yard" for granted and don't visit many of the wonderful places here when there are, literally, millions of people in other parts of the world who would give their 'eye teeth' to visit Australia.

I must agree that there are so many beautiful places to visit in Australia.  We have loved every trip we have done.

We are expecting visitors for afternoon tea today so must make something.
