We did the grocery shopping this morning. DH ‘helped’ me. It is better wearing a mask in the cooler weather but still not my favourite thing to do.

Cleaned out the dreaded plastics drawer. Actually there are 3 drawers.

Yesterday I cleaned some of the windows!! Inside and out!! Window cleaner would be good !
DD went out to the new farm and mowed for 3 hours . She found an amazing amount of the red with white dot toadstools , like huge amount .

I just pottered round as you do in lockdown. DD worked from home today.

I remember seeing those toadstools when I was young, K Atie, but haven't seen them for many years now.

We have  lots of those toadstools. I think they are lovely but you can’t eat them.  Even the Chooks know that.

The day changed a bit here yesterday. DH had to go and get a CT scan on his heart. The GP is a little concerned with his triglycerides
and as his Dad and brother had heart disease he wants to check him. Things then hotted up, quite literally. DH has a bad cold but his temperature went up to 40. DD was home so insisted that he go and get a Covid test. He wasn't impressed. We just got the results and as expected it was -ve. He is actually sitting in front of the tv so must be feeling lousy.

Cookie, hope DH is feeling better.  Maybe he is like me and has Dr phobia.  Hate medical tests and visits.
Didn’t get above 4 degrees today.

I think he does have Dr Phobia Chookie. Thank goodness we have a great GP. He and DH bonded over the fact they both did National Service many years ago. We will be in a pickle when he retires.

Gosh it all happened for DH yesterday cookie, when do you get the CT scan results?  I’m not sure how the Covid test went?

Hope DH is OK, Cookie.  I have been told I have a ' sluggish'  heart (whatever that means).  Ultrasound showed nothing so I now have to do a stress test and I have had one once before so know I do not like them - it's simply walking on a treadmill, but seeing as I don't walk, I amble very slowly, it is not something that I enjoy..

They are horrid tests Marina and you think they’re never going to end.  I had one at aged 63 (6 mins) then the last at 65 (9 mins) but none since thank goodness as I don’t think I could run now, walking is OK for me though. Good luck with your test.

Gosh Cookie hope all goes well for DH .
DD decided it was important to go to the nearest KHub to get a scarf , apparently it’s the latest craze  !! We went north ,the boys went south to get farm parts ! DD drove there and back !! This Ls driving is doing my head in . DS also drove home for an hour !! Two on Ls is rather challenging especially as DD is really only early on with her hours .

DH has been cleared of Covid. He gets the results of the scan on Thursday.
Marina I would hate a stress test very much. I have heard that they can do them without you having to exercise.  They do it electronically or something. Maybe it is only a dream, but I’m sure that I read it somewhere.
DH’s cold is still not the best. He has really copped it this time.
