Very little today, it's just so hot.  We did cover the tomato plants this morning with old sheets  to protect them from the heat so it's looking a bit spooky in the garden.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Thank you Marina , it’s was 43 and slightly windy . No harvesting. DS went and got a hair cut . He did many jobs . Had the best surprise, DS said he has got me something living- it was two poinsettia plants . That made my day bless him . Made rush to Woolworths they are selling for all of a $1 !! Now they are back out harvesting tonight. Hopefully I get up super early and do some jobs and a bit of cooking . Then come Friday no cooking .

We had a water leak somewhere outside (according to our water supplier it was reading 100 lt/day).  Found the leak - it wasn't hard, it was the only lush green spot on the property.  Got the plumber in and they came and closed it off.

Thank goodness they let you know Marina, love the way you found the spot 😁

I’m sitting under the fan watching the cricket on this very hot day whilst waiting for the delivery of my Christmas gift, the TM7. Unfortunately my air conditioner carked it last night after 25 years - as they do - so not sure I’ll be trying it out today.

Oh Judy. Exciting re the thermomix, but not good for the air con. It was awful when ours died a couple of summers ago.

Judy not great timing with your air conditioner. How did you go with TM 7 . Another warm day , not too bad . Had a local fire , but all ok . Except it really stressed me . Did a check on GF and felt the same . This week has been quite tiring just because it’s been so consistently warm . Think DH DS are tired but I’m hopeful they will get a rest tomorrow morning, no trucks allowed, basically the state is on hold tomorrow. Not sure that’s a great way to handle it , but fingers crossed everyone is ok .

Wow, Judy, a TM7 after having the TM31 for so long.  I would be really interested in seeing your comparison/s between the two models and what you think of the new version.

Condolences on your air-con.  What a time for it to give up the ghost, hope you are able to get a replacement soon.

Going out to the gym this morning. 5 minutes drive. First time out in 10 days. I want to talk to the Physiological about the pinched nerve in my neck. Going to be 40 here today.
Katie, stay safe.
Love to read what everyone is doing.
Judy, enjoy playing with your 7.
Marina, we had a similar arrangement at Invermay. It took ages for the big stuff to break down but was very worthwhile. Potatoes managed to grow among everything.
