Other than baking, I’ve been checking out Hotels in Auckland in NZ. DD has been nominated for an international award for services to  Dentistry. I’m going with her. Flying out on a Friday, event on Saturday and flying home on Sunday. This one has money attached. Not to her but for any Dental program she might initiate. .

I had a lazy day.

Today I made the second visit to the Ballarat Community Garden Swap. There are quite a few young people who organise this event . I took lots of jam and sauces as well as SD crumpets. I  collected from the table lots of Feijoas, red and green chilli’s and wild mushrooms. There were about 8 different cakes on the table for morning tea as well as baklava. I also got some quail eggs and Chook eggs. As the morning progressed more people arrived and placed more goodies on the table.

Chookie what a delight to see people are putting up mushrooms . We use to have a feijoa tree in our garden as kids . Tart and tangy . I’ve been very quiet the last few days - not sure what is wrong but so much neck body pain I just rested lots of heat packs and minimal food . So today is refresh day they call it . Tidy up kitchen and washing , striped the bed , hanging out pillows on the clothesline ! If I take it quietly i hopefully will make the bed by the end of the day . I best think about food for DH . And I should check out the lambs .

Marina, take it easy. When I felt like that, I had a pinched nerve in my neck.
Clean out fridge day, again.
Looking up lots of recipes to use the goodies from the swap. Got some quail eggs. Will cook tomorrow.

I asked DS to vacuum under our bed for me today as I have difficulty getting down to do it let alone getting up again.  He did that and then did the rest of the house for me.

Funnily Chookie I was thinking about a pinched nerve being part of the problem. A lot better today! But forced myself to do the washing and general chores . Ate a lot today so that’s an improvement.
