Hi From SA
« on: June 17, 2012, 12:12:32 pm »
Hi there!
I am new to the forum and new to Thermomix. I have been coveting my MIL's machine for about a year and recently used my tax return to get one for myself! So excited! Only had it for a bit over a week, but using it heaps and loving it already.
I have 3 year old twins, as well as working 2 days per week for a bank and also as a Tupperware demonstrator. So I am pretty busy, but I guess I like it that way!
We live on a farm, so being able to prepare meals from basics is pretty important. So far my favourite thing about my thermie is being able to walk away while it cooks dinner for me!
Look forward to lots of advice and ideas  :)

Welcome, pruezles.  :}  I can't help asking myself how long it will be before you start selling Thermomixes instead of or as well as Tupperware.  You will *love* your Thermomix, that's for sure.  Good luck with it all and thank you for finding the forum.

Hi pruezles, welcome to the forum - nice to see our numbers grow here in SA.  What country area are you from? It sounds as if you have your hands full with such a busy life and the twins would keep you on your toes.  Having borrowed MIL's machine you are probably an old hand at it now and know exactly what you are doing.  Please share your experiences with us and post some reviews of the recipes to help others when you have time.

Still in love with Thermie. Kinda stuck on the initial getting to know her phase though, you know custards, puddings, soups, sauces. Not sure where to go next, but that's ok, because I'm loving the journey.
Thanks for the Hellos :-)

OK pruezels, it is time to move onto bigger and better things  ;)

Check out CP's favourite list of recipes (so far) and you will be able to take that next step.
