Ok - confession time, I said I would join in on this challenge but have done nothing but eat since signing on.  So the scales have not moved in any direction (at least they haven't gone up).

July is birthday month in our family so all I've done is eat party food and cake.  Only my DD second birthday this weekend and then I can start to eat better.  Have 20 people coming for dinner on Saturday so no doubt there will be left overs for a couple of days.

Have been looking into a fitbit, where is the best place to get one from?

Keiramax, it seems Harvey Norman is the best place. Their website has the ability to find out which of your local stores has them. You can also buy them from fitbit's website.

Yep me either until Stacelee mentioned it, I then done some research and decided I just had to have one as well. Now our house will have 3 of them, but I figure it's all for good :)

So true - anything that encourages more movement is always a good thing!

Weigh day down 1.7kg thanks to fitbit that's keeping me moving and burning more calories. Lost 3.9kg since I started :D. Very happy with the results so far.

Yep I'm over the moon. And I'm feeling confident that I can keep going and make it a life style change. I'm not missing out on anything (except chocolate) but I'm not really missing that either. I'm getting more satisfaction from eating healthier :)

Thanks Amy. I plan to keep going till I reach my goal weight (or as close as possible) then continue eating to maintain my weight. :)

Just come back from a nice long walk to the shop and back. 4500 steps later :D
That felt so good, it's been a long time since I had a long walk. Why don't I do it more often? It really does make you feel good.
