Weight loss Challenge
«
on:
June 19, 2012, 09:34:37 pm »
Ok who would like to join me on a weight loss challenge. We can all support each other to loose those unwanted Kgs.
I'm going to use the My Net Diary app to keep a track of my calories and update each week how much weight I have lost. Maybe we could have a weigh in day once a week?
Do we want to say how much we weigh and our goal weight?
Any suggestions?
CP suggested maybe a photo From the neck down to start with then an updated photo every 5kg lost?
What does everyone think?
Who would like to join?

Dede what a great idea and I support it totally, however, I know when I am onto a loser and this is definitely one! I'm having enough trouble with Halley's $100 a week food challenge - there isn't a snowball's chance in a very hot place of me being any more successful with this one (in fact, I would fail spectacularly), but I sincerely wish you and everyone who joins you the very best of luck and admire you all for your success.

It's definitely not what I cook that makes me put on weight or not loose it.
It's more the snacks I eat between meals. If I change the way I eat I know I would loose weight.
I can't blame the TM, it's unTM items that I need to cut out

I'm happy to support and be supported but I don't follow diet plan of any sort. I find when I am trying to count calories etc, I get so paranoid about every bite I put in my mouth, I end up destroying myself when I do the wrong thing. I've been successful by stopping dieting and starting to eat. I try and minimize the carbohydrates I eat and make sure that the ones I do are good quality. I don't eat things that are not good quality. I also avoid the scales most of the time because again they are an enemy....I obsess about every 100 grams lost or gained,
Since I've been struggling with insomnia, I've been really bad with eating lots of sugary food and high carb food. I am trying to get both under control again. I'm counting the days until my son finishes school so that I can start exercising in the morning....leaving home at 6.30 makes it hard to fit it in.
