Amy our gym swapped over to this system about 12 months ago but I was never interested in giving it a go because it only works on the machines and I quite like to use the rower and free weights, also my pt wasn't really convinced and you had to pay an additional $25 to have it all set up and be provided with the key. My PT has now had success with a couple of clients and because I'm struggling to get motivated he thought it might work. I really am hopeless though, my fitness test this morning showed my cardio fitness was in the excellent range and actually the same as the PT so my response was that "obviously I'm so good I don't need to come anymore"!!!! Unfortunately we then did the strenght side of things and I didn't go so well. I'll be very interested to see if I find it motivating. I really don't like exercise so will give anything a go once.

I much prefer free weights too ;)
I hope the key motivates you. At least your PT has had some success using it with other clients, so maybe it will really help you too :D

Haven't given up, but holidays are no help. Big effort coming up after Christmas  and wedding anniversary.

I'm concentrating on giving up smoking before I worry to much about continuing with my weight loss challenge :)

I think I am winning the weight gain challenge at the moment.  Pre-Thermie a bag of sugar lasted me at least a year, now I seem to go through a bag every month (if not sooner).  I need to stop being tempted by all the yummy recipes posted on this forum.

Lol. Yep Thermie seems to do that to us all at some stage :)

I'm still keeping up with the exercise but haven't weighed myself in ages because I'm focussing on toning and strength at the gym at the moment. I was clothes shopping on the weekend and everything I bought was a size smaller so my shape has either changed a bit or I may have lost a little more.

Keep going Obbie - any additional exercise if good for you.

Dede - maybe exercise can be somthing to take your mind off the smoking cravings?

I'm still going, although it is happening slowly.  I'm now down 37.5 overall.  I'm aiming to make it 40kg by Christmas.  I went out and bought my first size 12 jeans and shirts in 19 years last night.  I held up a size 22 pair next to the size 12 and was shocked at just what a difference it is.  I look in the mirror and I still don't see the change.

That a huge effort Stace, well done :) I'm sure you'll get to the 40kg mark by Christmas. And I know what you mean about not seeing the change :(

Yes Wonder I agree, I intend on doing lots of walking as well to cope with cravings. Threw away all the ash trays today (all but 1). I'm mentally getting prepared for the challenge :)
