Thank you for the lovely flowers JD - how thoughful
and for all the nice wishes from everyone. I wasn't confident that the house would be cleaned as the the family selling it has 3 young children and probably no time to clean as can be seen by the amount of dust that has accumulated on the venetian blinds. Any tips for cleaning those when I move in, on a regular basis?
Oh and I will finally have a dishwasher so need to learn how to use one.
We are looking forward to making new memories with our growing family and making ourselves at home. We have to wait one more day due to settlement being delayed by the other party.

Ooooh, how exciting Yvette, I hope you both have a wonderful time
My mum's birthday tomorrow too..... it seems to have crept up on me, the only thing I have planned is her cake
Still can't decide on present. Or what to do about their dinner, since I will be working. Would be a bit rough for mum to have to cook on her own birthday!

SD doesn't take her out for dinner on her birthday Amy? - perhaps that is something you could give her, a nice meal out somewhere.

Sounds lovely Yvette. I hope he is surprised and has a very happy birthday.
I'm happy it's Friday (my day off) and the sun is shining. Pity I have to go to the dentist this morning
