We wrap some things as we go or get them gift wrapped as we buy them but the bulk of the 'wrapping' is done in cloth bags made of Christmas material. DW' made them years ago when the girls were young.

After one Christmas she looked at the pile of paper that we had to throw away and thought it a waste. So she started buying different Christmas pattern material when they had it out cheap in January and over time she mad a range of different sized bags with draw strings.

It makes wrapping pretty easy. The girls still use them. When they come home on Christmas eve they go and select bags from pile of empties under the back of the tree.

4 sleeps Suzanne woohoo. I start wrapping after the tree goes up and just do the rest as I buy them.

Are you putting yours up on Friday Kimmy?

What a great idea that is DD, pity I have already bought oodles of paper  :-))

I walk into my WIR and think dear lord I'll be here forever, I think I might start doing a bit each night it doesn't help that DD20 thinks she is still young enough to get the same as the little ones, she even hangs her stocking still and it still gets filled  ;D, geez I love this time of year  :D :D :D

Den, tha bags are a great idea. It would save a lot of money and paper. I think I might do that :D

Not sure when or where we will put our tree up. Its a bit hard with renovations happening and stuff everywhere! :-))

My sister and I still get mum to put our gifts from her in the Santa sacks we had as children. Been using them for 30 something years now and still love it. Brings back childhood memories.

New kitchens are amazing - mine is 15mths old but I still think of it as a 'new' kitchen...could be due to the fact it is still not finished!  :-))

I can't wait :D I know what you mean about it being unfinished.... our renovations have been in progress for probably about 8 years now! :-)) Why is yours taking so long? :)
