Ummm cuz I want my splashback tiles siliconed so there is no grout to clean, and DH doesn't know how to do it but says he will be able to work it out.  :D And also it took me over a year to find the perfect tiles!  :)  We repainted the whole house (except for laundry and bathrooms, they are next for a complete overhaul), made an arch between lounge and dining room into a bigger square walkway, new carpet thru where carpet goes, new drapes and a whole new kitchen.  :D
:D

Wow, that sounds great! :D I love the feel of new carpet under your feet ;D
Mum took a few months to decide on the perfect colour scheme and bench surfaces for the kitchen, so I can understand you with the tiles! ;D

Light coloured carpets are awful, they show so much dirt :-)) Grey is a good neutral colour ;D

We went neutral with everything so when we find a bigger house to buy, it will be easier to sell this one.  :D And it is so easy to dress up, everything matches!  :D  White and grey all thru.  :D

Absolutely right astarra :)

I'm happy that I got most of the ironing and folding up done before mum got home :D Also happy that we replaced the pipe under the sink so it doesn't leak anymore ;)
