Cookie, thats so sweet
Astarra, I can't wait to hear what the girls have for you
Okay, well, I'm even happier than I was earlier when I posted
Because....
1. After discovering that I left my wallet in mum's car
I remembered that I had $100 stashed away in a jar in my room
2. I had a great shift at work
3. When I went to the shop to buy the clock on my way home from work, I discovered that the teapot was actually a funny orange colour and only looked red in the photo
But then I saw something even better
4. I asked the lady at the shop how much the clocks were, and would you believe they were $99 each
5. So I now have the MOST PERFECT mother's day gift, and I'm so excited, but the lady in the store gift wrapped it for me so you will all have to wait until Sunday to see it after my mum opens it

Opening the gift early may be a blessing Suzanne. I can remember being woken at the "crack of dawn" to open Mothers' Day gifts. It was hard to be inspired when it was still pitch dark, but I think I managed.

I remember getting up early for Christmas, Easter, Mother's day, and any morning after I had lost a tooth
I might drag mum out of bed early tomorrow morning beccause I'm so excited to give her this present!!!

Can't wait to see what you got her Amy
I ended up with 2 bags of homemade cards, pictures, collages, notes etc, and a home(well, school) made photo frame with a photo of Miss6 in it, a shop bag which says "Number 1 mum- cuz you deserve the best" on it and a door hanger which says "Mum's day off- in case of emergancy see Dad!" (could be handy I reckon!
) , some choc truffles (also school made) and 6 serving dishes they had seen me eyeing off! So I am one very lucky and very happy Mum!!!

I got 1 dozen roses on Friday.... love roses.
Thank you DH
The kids did me cards and drawings at school with coffee sachets in them.
Much prefer home made drawings and cuddles than material things

Astarra, wow!!!
I bet the girls were excited to give everything to you
Suzanne, I used to make those vouchers for my mum too, they were always popular
Here is the clock I bought for mum, I wish I could've made it myself!

Happy...
Here is my gorgeous girl Miss 16 all frocked up for her Year 12 Ball last Friday.
Not that hubby and I are biased or anything, but she looked absolutely stunning.
