happy the tiler told me he would be done by Friday,  the cabinet maker is coming tomorrow and the painter is being organised for Lily's room,  baby steps but it's getting there ::)

Thanks everyone. She is not a "girly girl" so for her to be in a dress, have hair and make up done and in heels with her nails painted was pretty amazing!
She had a great night, and her date (an old friend from school) looked very handsome too. We were ok (...ish....) with the kids going to the after ball party, but they both decided that it was not for them and so they came home.
Apparently drinking and falling over was not on their list of things "to do"! (thank goodness!)

Birds are very sensitive to noise and change. Maybe put him elsewhere while you do the re-arranging.  :)

Poor Clinker :( I would put him in the lounge room but I don't trust Paddy not to eat him :'(
