Happy that we have had some decent rain for a change. Tipped 35mm out of the rain gauge this morning (hubby had decided it was broken - it hasn't worked in a while  :-)) ) and it has been raining off and on all day today. Real "stay inside with the fire going" weather!
Love It!  ;D
I do have some outside jobs to do so will try and judge the clouds a bit better than what I did this morning - got soaked when I went out to let my boys out.
Might go put on my wellies and dance in some puddles  ;D ;D ;D

That sounds like a great idea. The rain has been very exciting. Didn't like the wind with it much. Instead of Port this time I had a glass of Jeninwa's strawberry liquer. It has been standing for about 12 months and is so very nice.

I am happy that I am finally beginning to feel better after having had a horrible flu virus since Wednesday .
Also happy that my DGD won a gold medal in a state cooking competition  yesterday and was overall second in the competition.
She is extremely happy  ;D

Well done DGD and glad to hear you are on the mend MF - nice to get that one out of your system.  What did your GD have to cook to win the gold medal?

They had to cook 3 courses entree, main and dessert from a mystery box. The only ingredients they knew in advance was the proteins which were barramundi for entree  and lamb rump for mains. They had 4 hours to menu plan, prep and cook 4 serves of each course to present to the judges.
Her dishes looked lovely.  :D

Yes I am so glad to be feeling a good bit better. You don't appreciate feeling well until you don't.  I haven't felt this unwell in years.

Is GD working in a restaurant MF or is she just a very clever girl who loves to cook?
