Thanks for asking Robyn. He is out of ICU but still in hospital. They can't operate on the abscess because of other risk factors he has. He has also just been diagnosed with MRSA. ( Golden Staph). It is still very much a day to day thing, but we are coping pretty well. Trying to give his DW lots of support etc.

Soap box warning!!!!!!!!!

Do not get me started on MRSA. I could tell you stories that would make you hair curl.  Do not believe anything you hear or read about it. You have to experience it to understand the implications. This is a very old first world problem. OMG do not get me started!

Good luck is needed here cookie as you know.

I could write a ream of paper on MRSA.

Mum picked it up in her nursing home. It didn't make the end of her life any easier.
Now nursing homes, that could get me started. I am so glad Geoff is well and happy Judy. It means so much.

Hospitals are full of bugs, good places to keep away from.

Yes, but we take 1 day at a time because we know anything could happen to change the situation Cookie.  Each day is precious and we are certainly sailing along on a high right now.

When you are over 21 I think life is a bit like that Judy. You never know what is around the corner.
