DD24 (who lives here in Perth) and DS20 (who lives in Melb) have flown into Sydney this morning to spend the weekend with DD22 and catch up.  When DD24 was telling her workmates yesterday a few were surprised that they were so close, have fun together, and keep in touch all the time - they said "Wow your parents must be really proud that you all get along so well"...and that made me smile cos it hit home that we are lucky in that respect and just take it for granted most of the time. Family is so important.

I'm Happy cause we now have 2 chooks laying eggs , just think how happy I will be when all 4 are laying

Usually do when I'm getting 4 eggs a day, we don't eat eggs everyday so they build up quickly (a dozen eggs every 3 days)
I have been buying eggs at the moment as I'm not getting enough to do us.

Chooks have such easy lives. You'd think they show some gratitude by laying a few more eggs

We get 6-7eggs a day, more than what we need....

I love the giving to neighbors thing... 

They really appreciate it.

My chooks have just started to crank up laying again. After weeks of one egg a day and sometimes none, today there were three.

My DD25 said goodbye to us this morning after spending 3 weeks in Perth for training with her job she left at 4:30 this morning to drive back to Newman. I was very happy when she call this afternoon to say she was there safely.

Enjoyed a morning with DD27. It was her birthday yesterday and we took her shopping for a display cupboard for her new house. Then we spent some time making Rara's cherry bites and some cheese and rosemary biscuits for her party tomorrow.  I am happy to see her cooking more. Before we bought her a TM (which I also ge to use when we visit) she only ever cooked from packets. Now I just have to teach her about quality ingredients. She keeps buying Homebrand everything because it is cheap.
