Kids have porridge or weetbix during the week - normally finished with a smoothie

I have porridge every morning ;D My own style of porridge though, with ground buckwheat, barley, nuts and seeds, whole oats and chopped banana. I LOVE it :D :D

Usually porridge or Quirky Jo's fermented rice waffles. Both are served with cinnamon, yogurt, berries and banana.

I have been on Cyndi O'Meara's HCG protocol, so either a piece of fruit or nothing - I will be very pleased when I can eat my normal breakfast again!

And very importantly coffee, either a cappuccino or a  mochiatto (not sure of spelling! ). ;D

I stopped eating breakfast for a long time after my first DS was born, I think I was so busy with a baby I just forgot to feed me and it became a habit. Although each time I was pregnant I found I had to eat breakfast or I would feel sick.
But now on my life Style change healty eating thing (it's not a diet :) ) I am eating breakfast which I am finding helps me going until lunch time and not needing any snacks in between.
So at the moment I'm eating light and tasty cereal with macadamia nuts.

I mix it up between my own muesli mix with plain yughurt, 2 fried eggs on Helga's Sandwich thin topped with a bit of swwet chilli sauce, sometimes I make a frittata with what ever vegeis are in the fridge and I have started making porridge occasionally sinceit has gotten cold. Oh and always a coffee usually a skinny flat white and some times a long macchiato.

I used to always have multigrain weekbix warmed up in the microwave so they went warm and gooey in the milk. Yum :-))

Does anyone else find that they get hooked on a particular breakfast for a long period of time, and then it changes overnight and you get hooked on something else? Or is that just me?

I don't eat breakfast before work it's too early.
If I'm lucky enough to get a morning tea break, I have rolled oats with brown sugar and sultanas.

I usually make a cooked brunch on the weekends.

I'm another porridge person (devotee may be a better word, I think I'm a real addict), with added grains, seeds and oat bran plus blueberries and rapadura on top with a bit of extra milk.  The only time I don't have porridge is when I am at the farmer's market at the Collingwood children's farm - then I treat myself to a hot pancake with lemon and sugar.
