Does coffee and a smoke count as breakfast? If so I have breakfast a couple of times each morning LOL

That use to be my breakfast when I first started nursing.
I was only 17yrs old and desperately wanted to fit in and I was very keen on a certain young maintenance man.
The smoking didn't last too long as I couldn't inhale and just ended up with a mouth full of smoke that I just blew out again, really disgusting. Still enjoy a coffee though.

Green smoothie Monday to Friday and sometimes a coked breakfast, toast or pancakes on the weekend.

I have either bacon and eggs on toast or a bowl of muesli with yoghurt, girls have either porridge with pureed fruit/yoghurt or weetbix (2-3 each, even miss 18mths)  :)

I haven't really felt like eating in the morning lately but I know it's the right thing to do so I force myself to have something. Generally speaking, it's just toast with either vegemite, marmalade or tomato as my preferred breakfast but lately, because I can prepare it quicker, it's just 1 weetbix or a bit of nutra-grain. Not a porridge lover but I do like Amy's drinkable one - just can't be bothered making it most of the time, especially if I don't feel hungry as that fills me up until mid afternoon.  I used to love eggs or baked beans on toast so I daresay one day I will go back to that on the odd occasion. Just the 1 cup of coffee which usually lasts me until mid afternoon when I have my second and last cup for the day if I have time unless we have visitors, then we seem to have 2 or 3 cups whilst they are here.

I love eating slow cooked eggs done in the TM, but don't have them every day because they take too long to cook, 50min.
Normally I have porridge with banana and cinnamon :)

In winter I usually have porridge. Lately, I've been making a variation of Amy's winter smoothie with an apple, Crio Bru , yoghurt, oats and milk. The kids are having crumpets, toast or cereal at the moment. DH has a protein shake that he mixes up himself. It's about the only thing he "cooks" from scratch.

I used to use muesli to make porridge. It saves you adding all the fruits and stuff yourself if you're short of time ;)

I've done that before to Amy. Get to work and soak my container of muesli with skim milk and then come smoko just microwave for a few minutes. Delicious.
