I can't get my head around serving bacon with jam or maple syrup. I thought bacon was a savoury thing? Maybe I'm just behind the times :-)) ;D

Porridge :D
I think it Is an American thing. We regularly mix sweet and savory at breakfast.

We could make some on the WA weekend Amy. DD might make us some American style biscuits.
We could cook an Aussie breaky too. Damper with golden syrup.

To be honest I think I would be sick if I ate that much sugar and fat in one hit. My body isn't used to it :-))

I will be happy with my porridge ;D
