Sounds great Karen. Pancakes are such a treat. Perhaps if my DH ever wakes up I'll ask him to make me some (I don't think I can be bothered getting up myself!).

How did the sour dough bread go?

Pancakes are a Sunday morning ritual here - but this is the first time we have tried the sourdough ones.  We will definitely be making them again!  Kick DH out of bed and tell him the are well worth the effort - especially with Va Va Voom Vanilla Strawberry jam.

The sourdough bread was an improvement on the last one, but still not totally as I would like it.   Unfortunately I have to work today after all, so have already cut up that loaf and made it into sandwiches.  Might even put on another loaf this afternoon to rise overnight and cook tomorrow.  Loving this sourdough!
