Yahoo Amazon just sent me the latest Inspector Lynley book by Elizabeth George  and it was $2 cheaper than when I first ordered it for Kindie last May.

I've had 2 of those books which I borrowed from a friend sitting on my shelf unread for years, they're huge hard cover versions so no good for reading on the train! I really got into that series years ago, had no idea it was still going.
I've just finished 'The Cuckoo's Calling' and absolutely loved it, couldn't put it down. I wonder if this is the beginning of a series, definitely left me wanting more! What to read next?

Marie I will be interested to see what you think of this. I have it sitting there waiting for me. DD said she didn't really enjoy it that much.

Finished reading "The Rosie Project" the other day. A very enjoyable read - loved it to bits.

Am now reading Mark Kurlansky's "Salt - A World History" which is shaping up well.

To those people who recommended "the light between oceans" - thank you thank you thank you !!   I absolutely loved it!  Having grown up around south-west WA myself made it even lovlier

Have just started The Rosie Project, and am enjoying that too.

Nearing the end of The color purple.  Not sure if I've read it before??? Most likely not, but I am enjoying it if I have.

I'm enjoying Goodreads too. So much more information than librarything I have been using.
