I've just finished Cuckoo Calling. I enjoyed it. Not sure what to start tonight. I've just read Runaway Lies. It is a romance book but has the most fantastic mystery entwined in it.

I'm halfway into "The Girl on the Train" and I am currently enjoying it. I just don't know what this poor girl is going to find out.

That one sounds interesting, CP. I'll have to see if it's available on kindle.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Currently reading Roland Perry's The Queen, her lover and the most notorious spy in history...about Queen Victoria's affair with Lord Elphintone. Interesting subject even if it not the best written book I have read.

I have just finished reading a haunting and memorable book called Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand and will find it hard to forget this one.  It is a story about the amazing life of Louie Zamperini a 1930s American track star and Olympian who met Hitler, a POW in Japan in World War II and his subsequent recovery from the brutality of the POW camps through an initially troubled marriage to his redemption and into his later years.

This is not my usual sort of book, but I was totally caught up in it and couldn't put it down until the very end.

I just finished Girl on a Train, which I enjoyed. Its being compared to Gone Girl a lot, but I felt the GG was a better read. Have now started on a book called Delirium which is a dystopian novel. I like these every one in a while, my favourite being The Hand Maids Tale.

I'm reading my first Liane Moriarty at the moment. I'm not sure about it, it seems to jump all over the place. Hopefully things will improve.

I saw the previews for this at the movies - I don't know that I could sit and watch it to the end, it looked heart breaking.

I don't think I could sit through the film either, although I should imagine the book is more descriptive, at least you can put it down and take a break from it.

We just watched the Amazon TV series of Bosch so now I am starting to read all 20 books in the Bosch collection. I've read probably half of them but this time I'm reading them in order from book 1. Up to book 2 now and we fly to Hawaii on Easter Sunday so I have my flying time all sorted!

Just finished Dust of the Land by J Fletcher.  Really good Australian historical fiction about the Pilbara and the iron ore magnets.
