Wonder....I too find the browning hot.  I noticed this when I placed the onions in...browned very quickly.
If browning meat, I don't leave it in too long.
Other than that, haven't any problems yet.

There's that many appliances out there...it is confusing Judy.
I've read recently the maxi chef is having the same issues as the belini....wow...what a surprise that was  :P
The new "revised" belini is on the shelves now....will watch with interest.

Well disaster struck this morning, went to the market to picket up ingredients for the weeks meals, defrosted the meat and as soon as I turned the cooker on to start the chicken stock it started heating up before I even turned it on, the controls aren't working and it just keeps getting hotter. I've turned it off and tried restarting but still no luck, non of the buttons are working. I've now rushed out and bought a silit stove top one. I'll ring Newave tomorrow and assume they will replace it but I needed one to get our weeks meals cooked today before starting back at work.  I'm hoping the silit are a good brand and I'll be able to keep it forever.

Thanks deedub, I thought there was a connection somewhere with Bellini and a PC.

I sed the silit a lot yesterday and it seemed great. I really like the ability to control the heat when browning and the bigger heavier pot makes it easy to stir large quantities, but I do love the convience of the automatic pressure and timer of the electric one. I think I will probably just ask for a replacement and keep both as I'm loving PC cooking even more than my TMX at the moment.  I was worried buying the silit as there are no reviews that I could find online but I was limited for choice on such short notice, they are German made so figure they must be ok.

Oh dear....it's starting to seem like the N.W. is the "bellini" of pressure cookers  :-\
I can't fault their pizza maker at all, it's wonderful.....maybe the pc has too many elements than it can cope with!

I've spoken with Newwave this morning and I need to send it back via a reply paid number so just the cost of packaging for me. The women said it's most likely that it will need to be replaced.
