Nesting..Thermomix style...
« on: July 15, 2012, 03:18:54 am »
Even though I am only 26weeks pregnant, I've spent the school holidays going crazy with nesting-especially cooking! I now have a total of 18 family meals in the freezer. I feel SO organised :D

That is very organised Bubbles. You will appreciate the hard work when you bring your new baby home.
Is this your first baby Bubbles?

No I am very lucky, I already have a DD (4) and DS (2)  :D
My DH will be doing long hours from when the baby is due end of Oct, through to Christmas, not finishing until 9ish most nights. I found that quite stressful when DS was born, so it will be amazing to see the difference having a TMX this time.  :)

It is Obbie - but a big one! I wasn't coping with the thought of the big f ... f ... f ... forty last year, so hubby gave me 3 options after I had a little tanty and stamped my foot! (very childish for an almost 40 year old I know!) He said I could have all my friends at a restaurant to celebrate, or have caterers come in to our home and cater for a party, or leave the country for a week. I chose option 3 in a blink of an eye and promptly booked Mum to come and look after kids, then booked a 5 start hotel overlooking the bay in Hong Kong for a week!
It was wonderful.
I'm sure I didn't turn 40 as there was no fuss, no hoo hah, lots of sensational food, the hotel was fantastic and my dear hubby spoilt me to death.
I wanted to do it all again this year but he wouldn't agree :(

Anyway ... congrats on your baby bubbles - and keep freezing those meals, you'll thank yourself many times over!

For my birthday I had the party you have to have.  The rellies you don't like, because you have to.

For my next biggie, I am going away for the weekend, no party at all. :D
