Hi I'm Rach a busy mum of 3 boys (6 1/2, 5 and 2 1/2) from Vic, Aust
I've just ordered my thermomix (should have it in around a week)
after seeing it in action at a demo about a mth or so ago
I will be having my demo soon...
I cant wait...
I'm already looking on the web for recipes to cook
and to work out what to buy when I go food shopping in prep for its arrival
(any tips would be great)
the only thing I'm worried about its I've recently lost weight
and that being able to make yummy food so easily will blow all my hard work
so I must look out for healthy low cal recipes

Hi and welcome to the forum 3boysblue, you will love having your own TM.
And we have all covered on this forum, from recipes, hints and tips, low fat versions of recipes, chit chat on anything, cleaning and even a weight loss challenge if you find the temptation of all the yummy food you make too much. I can truely say that if all I ate was what I made in the TM then I would have no problem with weight at all. It's the other brought junk that made me put on weight. Now I have changed my ways the weight is dropping off.
All I can suggest is stay strong
Happy cooking with your new TM

Hi 3boysblue, welcome to the forum. It's an exciting time waiting for delivery of your TMX and browsing this forum is a good way to spend that time. There is so much on here to read and so much to learn from our very knowledgeable members. We have a
diet
section but you will probably go crazy for a while whilst you try out all sorts of things. Things level off after a while though and you will learn to cut down on fattening foods and concentrate on a good healthy diet. A lot of our
all-in-one meals
are pretty healthy, have a look at them too. Just stay away from cakes and desserts and you will be fine

Welcome Rach. Congratulations on the weight loss. If you have had the will power to lose weight I'm sure the TMX will be fine. You can make so many healthy things in it and I'm sure the boys will love eating what you make.
